POLYGRIP makes the textile fibres soft, strength and condition the fibre for the subsequent carding, twisting and spinning operations. At the same time, PLOYGRIP reduces the flying and wastage of the short fibers. In this way it maintain more hygienic condition in the mills. By increasing the lubricity of the yarns, POLYGRIP reduces the friction between the fibers and the machine parts. It is also believed that oil wetted fibers do not become charged with static electricity during and spinning operations.
POLYGRIP mechanism
- Hydrophilic Finishing is to change the properties of the fiber surface layer so that its easy to absorb moisture.
- Antistatic finishing is through the formation of fiber containing ionic and/or hygroscoping groups of polymer, improving the conductivity of fiber, to eliminate or prevent electrostatic production.
- Easy decontamination is mainly through improving the hydrophobicity of fiber surface, reducing electronic adsorption, making the oil easy to wash, and not to stain again.
- There are some similarities between the three kinds of embedding methods, that is, through the hydrophilic hydration on the surface of the fibers to achieve the purpose of finishing.
